Foundation and Government Support

Government grants and contributions from private, family, corporate, and community foundations are important sources of support for KQED. Often providing seed money or capstone funds for KQED projects, foundation and government support makes it possible for KQED to develop new productions, implement community outreach initiatives, as well as maintain longtime program favorites.

KQED's Foundation and Government Development team raises money for KQED general operating expenses, as well as for a number of specific projects for Television, Radio, KQED.org, and the KQED Education Network.

You can sign up to receive our quarterly Investor Update or send your questions not answered in our FAQ section to fdn@kqed.org. Please include your contact information, and foundation name. We are generally able to respond to requests for information within twenty-four hours.
